Gratuity Formula

15 = 15 days of salary for each completed year of service.
Last Drawn Salary = Basic Pay + Dearness Allowance (DA).
Years of Service = Total number of completed years (rounded down).
26 = Average number of working days in a month (used for calculation under the Act).
Example
Ankit has worked for 8 years at a company and her last drawn salary (Basic + DA) is ₹50,000.
Gratuity = (15 × 50,000 × 8) / 26
Gratuity = ₹2,30,769.23
So, Ankit will receive ₹2,30,769.23 as her gratuity amount (approx).
